This scrumptious mélange of 60% Syrah, 21% Grenache and 19% Mourvèdre boasts aromas and flavors of eucalyptus, candied black raspberry, slow-roasted pot roast, wet clay, and milk chocolate bar. Acidity falls in the medium plus range, while the tannins are soft and integrated. I love the bitter herb and black pepper finish. It’s another winner from winemaker Steve Wells.
