61% Cabernet Sauvignon, 31% Merlot, 6% Malbec, 2% Cabernet Franc make up the 2019 Artist Series Red Wine from Chateau Ste Michelle. It’s aged for 18 months in 42% new French oak barrels and presents a dark purple core with a blueish rim in the glass. A decadent combination of stewed blackberry, dark melted chocolate, toasted vanilla, cedary herbs, and cassis are very well balanced. The palate is black-fruit forward, with ample amounts of spice and earth to finish everything off. 2922 cases were produced.
