The 2012 is a monster of a wine that will take some time to develop in the bottle. Composed of 85% Cabernet, 7% Cab Franc, 4% Merlot and 4% Syrah, this wine has rich aromas of cassis, anise and some oak. It possesses a velvety mouthfeel with flavors of mocha, creme de cassis and black cherry. Persistent, savory and rich wine that's drinking beautifully now but will also age gracefully. One of the best Bordeaux style wines from a great vintage. (Best 2016-2030) - July, 2015 (OB)
