AMBASSADOR WINES OF WASHINGTON Red Wine, Red Mountain 'Diplomat' 2013

Ambassador has created a very strong lineup of new release wines. Their finest new release, the 2013 'Diplomat' is a blend of 75% Cabernet, 20% Syrah and 5% Grenache. This wine has the Ambassador signature mineral backbone and begins with aromas of sagebrush, red cherry, blackberry pie and hints of creosote. There are flavors of black olive, blackberry and mocha. Wild blackberry dominates the long finish in this great new release from head winemaker Sarah Goedhart and consulting winemaker Tom Rinaldi. (Best 2016-2028) - April, 2016 (OB)
