ISENHOWER CELLARS Petit Verdot 'Jongleur' 2013

The 2013 Isenhower Cellars 'Jongleur,' is named after a medieval juggler. This was Harvested on October 3rd, 2013 from the Dionysus Vineyard. The 100% Petit Verdot wine was aged in 30% new French and American oak prior to bottling. This opens with aromas of dill, white pepper, green bell pepper and hints of blackberry jam. There are rich flavors of blackberry cobbler, green bell pepper, and white pepper. This is really classy, showing nice poise from this hot vintage. (Best 2016-2022) - August, 2016 (OB)
