Ron Bunnell was former winemaker at Col Solare, prior to starting Bunnell Family Cellars. The wine shows what he can do with great Cabernet. The wine begins with intense and heady aromatics of black cherry, anise, cassis and smoke. There are rich flavors of mocha, cassis, blackberry pie and sagebrush accents. There is gorgeous depth and richness to this Cabernet, which beautifully showcases this great vintage. (Best 2016-2026) - October, 2016 (OB)
