This Chardonnay saw 25% new French oak for 15 months. The wine is named after the winemaker middle daughter. Nutmeg, white peach, golden delicious apple and suggestions of brioche fill the nose. Showing more weight than the other wines, there are ripe flavors showing brioche, Pazzaz apple pie with creme brulee. The mouthfeel is lovely, as is the long finish to this excellent Chardonnay bottling. (Best 2017-2025) - July, 2017 (OB)
