The 2014 Archimage Red was aged in 33% new French oak for 20 months prior to bottling and is composed of 53% Cabernet Franc and 47% Merlot. This wine begins with aromatics of milk chocolate, black cherry preserves and suggestions of wild blackberry pie. This is lithe while maintaining wonderful mid-palate weight and mouthfeel. This has wonderful range and texture underlined by flavors of milk chocolate, black cherry preserves and suggestions of roasted dates. This another outstanding effort from Sleight of Hand.
