The Ashton Troy Malbec was aged for 30 months in oak prior to bottling. It begins with aromas of dark fruits and chocolate. On the palate this shows wonderful depth and concentration, with dark cherry, Hoisin sauce and milk chocolate. Well-made and highly structured, this is showing excellent now and should also cellar nicely over the next decade.
