DUTTON-GOLDFIELD Pinot Noir, Azaya Ranch 2014

Azaya Ranch Vineyard was planted by Mark Pasternak on an ideal south and west facing hill in Hicks Valley in Marin County. While a challenging site for Pinot Noir this vineyard yeilds small and highly concentrated Pinot Noir berries. The wine itself begins with aromatics of pomegranate seed, orange rind and suggestions of teaberry. Flavors of blood orange, red cherry and baking spices flavors continue to impress on the palate as this shows great poise. (Best 2017-2027) - September, 2017 (OB)
