Masculine and savory this Applegate Valley Malbec smells of smoked hickory, roasted poblano, and fresh blackberry. Oaky and roasted on the palate. The sweet flavor of glazed meat, roasted red berries, brambly blackberry, and summer sausage spice. Very well balanced with a structure that is medium intensity across the board and tannin with some grip. A solid wine that displays the flavors of Malbec well.
