The 2019 Côt is the second vintage I’ve tasted of this truly unique wine. It is a carbonic macerated Malbec with some stem inclusion that is light, interesting, and downright quaffable. Red fruit driven - cranberry and red raspberry with a touch of bubblegum, and white pepper, it’s incredibly fresh with only 11.5% alcohol, but still has quite a bit of tannin to keep things interesting. This one is definitely worth a try and a bottle I would open almost any time.
