100% whole-cluster fermented and aggressively foot stomped, this St. Joseph style of Syrah features low alcohol and notes of purple flower, blueberry, blue plum, and black pepper, and is wonderfully gamey. It comes from a cool climate which allows a long hang time with the fruit picked at the end of October. High acidity and a lean character complete the wine. This is a totally different style of Washington wine that you are used to, but something you must taste to understand and appreciate.
