This stunning 100% Cabernet Sauvignon is aged for 20 months in 80% new French oak. I loved the 2017 vintage of this wine and I believe that the 2018 is actually a tad bit better. When a nose of a Washington Cabernet is so perfectly and elegantly balanced with expressive black fruits, savory herbs, sugar cookies, leather and complex notes of cigar box, tilled earth and torched baking spice you find yourself enjoying the nose for 10 minutes before you even want to take a sip. Now take a sip and be blown away by the balance of the blackberry, red plum, torched fresh poultry spice, anise and cigar box elements on the palate. The acidity is perfectly balanced with the sweet tannins and full body. There aren't many bottles of this wine, so find a few now and cellar this for the next decade or two. Only 106 cases produced. Highly recommended.
