The 2019 Gold Drop Collection Mourvèdre opens to inviting aromas of fresh raspberries and cherries, laced with spices, violet, black pepper, blood orange and forest floor nuances. The palate is medium-bodied, structured and focused. It is an elegant red with chewy tannins that expand beautifully across the palate. The wonderful soft texture is absolutely delightful as it works its way into the finish and leaves behing a lasting impression of ripe red fruits and spices. This is already drinking remarkably well and should continue to do so for up to a decade.
