Aged on the lees in predominantly aged French oak barrels, this interesting Chardonnay brings aromas of crushed lemongrass, ripe yellow apple, and cream front and center. The palate is much the same with the addition of honey-coated Bartlet pear and blanched slivered almonds. Beautiful acidity and a yummy, lengthy, and herbal finish complete the wine. One of the better Washington Chardonnays that I have tasted from 2020. Editors Choice.
