An intoxicating blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Cabernet Franc, and 15% Merlot that is sultry and incredibly beautiful in every way. With a nose of ripe mountain blackberry, cassis, freshly ground coffee, tar, and a touch of tobacco, I could spend hours smelling the wine and watching it evolve. The palate is fresh and on point with additional flavors of black plum, cinnamon stick, chocolate-covered vanilla bean with a hint of earthiness, and iron ore. Ample acidity, lovely chalky tannins, a full-body, and a wonderfully fruity and earthy finish complete the wine. Only 164 cases produced. Highly recommended.
