Red cherry, dried strawberry, pencil shavings, toasted anise, white pepper, and lemon zest, with just a hint of dried mulberry aromas pop from the glass. The palate is herbaceous and red-fruit forward, with great acidity, structured sweet tannins, and a medium to full body.
