COTE BONNEVILLE Red Wine, Yakima Valley ‘Train Station’ 2018

In a tribute to their historic Train Station Tasting Room, this Red Blend is Cote Bonneville’s entry-level red. Composed of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Syrah, this blend is deep purple in color and gives up slight vanilla on the nose. With slightly grippy tannins that still possess a little heat, it opens with blackberry, anisette, and new leather. With a little time in the glass, black raspberry and menthol appear. It continues to open and evolve with air and will probably need a few years of cellaring to reach its potential.
