Another delicious Chardonnay from The Walls, the 2021 Martin’s Gold is rich, oily, and textured. Notes of orange blossoms, honey-coated pear, sweet baking spices, baked yellow peach, lychee flesh, and white grapefruit zest. The palate is much the same, with a yellow stone-fruit finish, bitter herbs, and a full-bodied mouthfeel. The finish is fruit-forward and goes on for minutes.
