MAISON BLEUE 'Metis Blanc' 2012

The 'Metis Blanc' is farmed from the Boushey and Dutchmen vineyards, this is a lively blend of Marsanne, Grenache Blanc and Rousanne. It is a wine that opens with aromas of unripe cantalope, cut grass and green apple. Solid minerality and smooth mouthfeel throughout, leading to flavors of green papaya, Granny Smith apple, and ripe pear. Drinking nicely now and slightly on the sour and astringent side, but in a good way. (Best 2015-2020) - August, 2015 (OB)
