The 2013 'Stone Tree Vineyard' Tempranillo is another excellent release from this estate. The wine was aged 67% in neutral oak with the rest new American oak. It is sourced 66% Stone Tree Vineyard Block 17 and 34% Les Collines Vineyard block 9. The wine begins with aromas of wet stone, smoked meats, blueberry and teaberry aromas. There are flavors of blackberry, black tea and anise with smoky accents. Lovely structure here. (Best 2016-2026) - March, 2016 (OB)
