The 2013 Cote Bonneville Chardonnay is an exceedingly expressive bottling. This DuBrul vineyard wine was aged 17 months in the less, prior to bottling. The wine begins with aromas of brioche, poached pear and lemon zest. This leads to flavors of red delicious apple, butterscotch, with a long and lingering finish. Lovely oak elements and richness in this dense Chardonnay. This is up there with the best of them in Washington. Hats off to head winemaker Kerry Shiels. (Best 2016-2023) - April, 2016 (OB)
