This intense Syrah starts with aromatics of black cherry, blackberry jam, creosote and hints of milk chocolate all soaring from the glass. This layered wine offers concentrated flavors of black cherry, blackberry preserves and suggestions of blueberry compote along with milk chocolate. It shows remarkable polish and depth, leading to a long finish. This is a wonderful example of how great winemaking and Red Willow fruit is a beautiful combination. Aged in 44% new French oak for 14 months prior to bottling. (Best 2016-2026) - August, 2016 (OB)
