The 2009 Sonoma Coast Syrah comes from Shanel Vineyard, Rodger's Vineyard and Cole Creek Vineyard. Dark berries, plums, exotics spices, lavender and smoked meats emerge instantly emerge from the glass. This brings a gorgeous soft, velvety texture and wonderful balance. The dark berries and spices make an encore on the long lasting finish. The Syrah was Co-fermented with 7% Viognier. This Syrah can be drank upon release. (Best 2013-2019) - May, 2013 (JD)
