SOLISTE Pinot Noir 'L'Espérance' 2011

2014 TOP 100 WINES | Rank #6
2011 was considered a difficult vintage for Pinot Noir in the Sonoma Coast and the vines demanded rigorous attention from the winemakers. However, Soliste thrived, and the ‘L’Espérance’ is the result. This Pinot Noir is beautiful, elegant, age worthy and most definitely Burgundian in style. Delivering exotic aromas of wild berries and black cherries along with dried spice, potpourri, mint and fresh minerals. Impressive for its remarkable velvety texture, tension and fantastic balance. The finish vibrant, with gorgeous acidity that leaves your mouth watering. This needs minimum 5 years of cellaring and can be enjoyed for many years to come. (Best 2017-2030) - March, 2014 (MD)
