ANTHILL FARMS Pinot Noir 'Campbell Ranch Vineyard' 2012

The Campbell Ranch Vineyard is located just miles from the Pacific Ocean. As a result it is heavily influenced by the cool marine air and coastal climate. Today, the Campbell Ranch is the most impressive of all the 2012s from Anthill Farms, with an incredibly complex nose offering intoxicating aromas of fresh bing cherry, crushed strawberry, earth, black tea, white pepper, leather, vanilla bean, currant, dried tobacco leaf and wild flowers. It is focused and harmonious, delivering freshness and intensity on the finish, with a long aftertaste of spice and red fruits. This can be approached now, but also shows excellent potential to thrive in the cellar. (Best 2015-2030) - June, 2014 (MD)
