SOLISTE Pinot Noir 'Nouveau Monde' 2012

The 'Nouveau Monde' is a single clone, single vineyard Pinot Noir inspired by the wines of Pommard and Corton. Claude Koeberle & Donald Plumley have been turning out masterful wines at Soliste, made in a true Burgundian style. This stunning wine delivers aromas of bright red fruits, dark soil tones, black tea, exotic spices, forest floor, raw cocoa along with violet and rose pedal which soar from the glass. On the palate the wine is focused, full-bodied, pure and refined with a core of fresh fruit. It remains focused and balanced as it heads into the amazing finish. Drinking well now with extended air contact, but will prove to be ageworthy and will benefit from additional time in bottle. (Best 2015-2030) - October, 2014 (MD)
