This Pinot Noir comes from the Huckleberry's Vineyard one-acre plot on the edge of the Sonoma Coast and sits on classic Gold Ridge soils. The closely- spaced vineyard is managed entirely by hand. As this Pinot Noir begins to open it releases beautiful aromas of fresh red berries, black currants, dried spice and dark soil aromas. It possesses a lovely mouth feel coupled with excellent balance of red and dark fruit with fresh, lively acidity. A medium to full bodied Pinot that is delicious today and has 8-10 years of life to gain complexity. (Best 2017-2027) - June, 2017 (MD)
