The 2015 Gap's Crown Vineyard Pinot Noir is an absolutely stunning effort by Kosta Brown. Aromatically intense, this bursts open with striking aromas of black cherries, cola and sassafras that connects with wild mushrooms and Asian spices. On the palate this is remarkably complex, with an outstanding round texture, laces with concentrated flavors of red cherries, pomegranate seed, citrus zest with raspberry liquor nuances. Layered and intense this Pinot Noir showcases gorgeous structure and incredible minerality through the graceful finish. While excellent now and nearly impossible to ressist, this Pinot Noir also displays wonderful ageing potential and will surely thrive in the cellar. (Best 2017-2030) - October, 2017 (OB)
