This Syrah from Cornerstone is an excellent showing. It begins with pretty aromas of dark plums, blackberry, red currants, violet, dark soil and dried spice. On the palate this is full bodied with lots of ripe black and red fruits backed by layers of complex flavors. This is a beautiful, structured red that is approachable now, but should ideally be cellared for 3-4 years.
