Talisman's Weir Vineyard Pinot from the Yorkville Highlands in Mendocino is another fantastic offering in their 2017 lineup. The bouquet offers up aromas of ripe cherry, strawberry, and pomegranate along with sage brush, spice and earthy notes. The palate is fresh and inviting with flavors of red fruit, cherry, earth and spices that linger into the supple finish. This can use some extended air contact of a year or 2 of bottle age and will drink well for up to a decade.
