The 2011 Alder Springs Pinot Noir offers a pretty mix of fresh raspberries, spices and herbs, which are woven together with a fresh mushroom character, floral, minerals and vanilla bean. It shows nice structure and richness on the palate, backed by racy acidity leading into the lively finish. Approachable today and should have no issues holding up for another handful of years.
