PHILO RIDGE Pinot Noir, Anderson Valley 2012

Philo Ridge is a small production winery with sustainable farming practices utilizing 100% wind and solar power. The 2012 Pinot Noir displays a pale garnet hue leading to a crisp, exhilarating nose of ripe cherries, strawberries and hint of licorice. The palate bursts with fresh raspberries, red fruit with slight herbaceous undertones at the finish. This is already showing well and should continue to drink well over the next few years. (Best 2016-2020) - December, 2016 (DJH)
