DOMAINE ANDERSON Pinot Noir, Anderson Valley 2013

This Pinot Noir is the estate bottling by the Louis Roederer group from the family-owned 50 acre property in Anderson Valley. The hue is a dense, dark ruby, followed by perfumed aromas of ripe cranberries, potpourri, cloves and leather. Mouthfeel is deep and lush with flavors of dark plums, dense red cherries, kirsch, and vanilla. This is an impressive showing with exquisite balance and complexity. This also shows nice ageing potential. (Best 2017-2026) - January, 2017 (DJH)
