Sourced from the Weir Vineyard in the Yorkville Highlands, this lovely Pinot begins with an aromatic profile of Asian spices, red cherry preserves, black raspberries, guava and pomegranate all taking shape. The palate is lithe, currently displaying ripe flavors reminiscent of red cherry, red raspberry, cranberries and pomegranate with hints of baking spices. This is soft and round and ripe, having a slight salinity quality which makes it extreamly appealing. While thisis drinking beautifully today, I expect it will also evolve for at least another decade. (Best 2017-2027) - April, 2017 (OB)
