A part of the east facing slope of the Evenstad Estate in the Dundee Hills, this beauty is aged for 15 months in French oak barrels. Loaded with impressions of wild strawberry, cranberry, white mushroom, rose, and some wet earth characteristics it hits the tongue with a medium-body, seamless balance, and a luminous texture. The tannin quality is wonderfully integrated, as is the purity of fruit and lively acidity. A leaner style of Pinot Noir with more Burgundian nuances that I absolutely adored.
