White Walnut Estate's 2019 Chardonnay Worden Hill Road is fantastic in this vintage. It opens with pretty aromas of lime, quince, pear, honey, matchstick, hazelnut and dried flowers which all come together wonderfully in the glass. It's medium plus bodied, rounded in the mouth with intense savory fruit layers coupled by tangy acidity, finishing very long with a lovely mineral note. This is a outstanding Chardonnay that is delicious on release and will drink well for up to a decade.
