DOMAINE SERENE Pinot Noir, Dundee Hills ‘Grace’ 2019

There is something special about the Grace Vineyard of Domaine Serene. I had the opportunity to taste a vertical going back to 2005 and I can say they were some of the best Oregon Pinot Noirs that I have experienced. And with this cooler 2019 vintage that produces perfect levels of acidity and a gorgeous texture, I have no doubt that this will age for 20-30 years in the proper cellar. Complex notes of freshly picked black cherry, wild blueberry compote, mountain huckleberry, iodine, freshly laid tar, wet autumn leaves, saline, and toasted fennel explode from the glass and onto the palate. Racy acidity and sweet crunchy tannins are perfectly in balance and complete one of the best Pinot Noirs I’ve had from the 2019 vintage in Oregon. Only 335 cases produced. Highly recommended.
