DOMAINE DE BROGLIE Pinot Noir, Dundee Hills ‘Cuvée’ 2018

Resting ten months in French oak barrels with only 7% being new and the rest neutral, this displays an exquisite medium ruby core with a watery rim in the glass. Cherry preserves, mulberries, Chinese 5 spice, toasted cedary herbs, and blood orange rind aromas and flavors are all present in the glass. I love the touch of wet earth tones I get on the mid-palate, alongside the lively acidity, rounded tannin, and superb structure.
