Partially fermented in French oak barrels and stainless steel, this could be a dead-ringer for a highly rated Meursault. Think notes of white peach, orange blossom, and roasted hazelnuts on the nose while the palate gifts flavors of honey-coated pear, blanched almond, toasted anise seed, and a hint of white mushroom. The elevated acidity and full body will help this wine evolve nicely over the next 8-10 years. 1982 cases produced.
