The 2020 Bergstrom Vineyard Pinot Noir from Bergstrom is stunning. For the difficult 2020 vintage, this wine rests towards the top of my list in terms of finesse and quality – it’s a stunning effort from Josh Bergstrom. Medium to dark ruby hued with a bright purple rim, it explodes with notes of freshly picked huckleberry, spiced blue plum, dried crushed sage, wet stone, and a hint of ground pink peppercorn. Gorgeous minerality on the palate, it’s juicy and round on the palate. Needs a year in the bottle before enjoying.
