DOMAINE SERENE Pinot Noir, Dundee Hills ‘Fleur de Lis Vineyard’ 2019

A peppery, spicy, and earthy effort by the winemaking team at Domaine Serene, the 2019 Fleur de Lis Pinot Noir displays a medium to dark ruby/purple core with a brickish rim and is also largely a part of the Evenstad Reserve blend but with the 2019 vintage, we get a single vineyard wine as well. Rich aromas of fresh boysenberry, wild huckleberry, toasted anise, and powdered graphite, with accents of toasted earth and cedar, are all present in the glass. The palate delivers a robust and full body with sweet tannins and a full-bodied mouthfeel. Better in 2024. Highly recommended.
