GRAN MORAINE Pinot Noir, Yamhill-Carlton 2016

This outstanding new release by Gran Moraine is another enticing wine from this great estate in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA. On the nose the wine yields intense exotic spices, red currant and red cherry preserves with shades of wild mushroom. The silky texture entices through the mid-palate as the wine shows off a beautiful astringency and complex sweet and savory flavors, with earthy undertones. Delicious now, this lithe Pinot Noir will have a long life in the cellar.
