HOLOCENE Pinot Noir, Yamhill-Carlton ‘Memorialis’ 2019

Beautiful aromas and flavors of wild red raspberry, fresh blueberry, violet, pencil shavings and tangerine peel fill the glass of this yummy Pinot Noir made by winemaker Todd Alexander of Force Majeure and The Walls fame. The balance is impeccable with high acidity, medium sweet tannins, a medium to full-body and a wonderful structure on the fruit-forward and peppery palate. Beautiful to drink now with a few hours of decanting, it should cellar well for the next 8 years.
