LEMELSON Pinot Noir, Yamhill-Carlton ‘Stermer Vineyard’ 2018

Resting for 15 months in 50% new French oak barrels and 50% once-used, the 2018 Meyer Vineyard sees up to 40% whole cluster during fermentation. Aromas of wild thimbleberry, spiced red plum, and cedary herbs play up front, while the palate boasts flavors of blueberry pie, wet earth, dehydrated cremini mushrooms, and dried mountain mint. It finishes with a lovely crushed stone minerality and a red-fruited length that continues for several minutes. 750 cases were made.
