Much lighter in color than the 2018, the 2019 Shea Vineyard Pinot Noir from St Innocent gifts a light ruby-cranberry core with a slight yellow tinted rim. Fresh raspberry, red currant, juicy blue plum, spiced cake, graphite powder, wet autumn leaves, and slight umami notes combine wonderfully on the nose and on the palate. Silky tannins, a medium body, and a lovely structure glide over the palate. It finishes long with a blue-fruit focus and a slight earthy aspect that I adore. 1275 cases produced.
