The famed Shea Vineyard produces fruit for this fabulous 2018 Pinot Noir from St Innocent. Showcasing a medium purple-ruby core that turns fluorescent towards the rim, it’s loaded with visions of macerated strawberry, wild huckleberry, pencil shavings, purple rose petal, brown mushroom, and sweet Christmas spices. It hits the palate with a medium-bodied, consistent, yet fresh and vibrant structure. Lovely tannin quality and superb purity of fruit beams from the glass. Drink this one now or over the next decade as it will start to develop some more earthy and spice characteristics over time. 875 cases produced.
