GRAN MORAINE Chardonnay, Yamhill-Carlton 2018

Aged in a combination of French oak barrels (8% new) and stainless steel tank for 16 months it presents a lovely light lemon-gold with a silvery rim in the glass. A scintillating nose and palate of ripe red apple, Bartlett pear, underripe peach, crushed stone, baked brioche, and sweet spice present together nicely. Medium-plus levels of acidity, a full-body, and a fruit-forward and earthy finish complete the wine. 2120 cases produced.
