SHEA WINE CELLARS Pinot Noir, Yamhill-Carlton ‘Block 23’ 2019

Another scintillating bottle of Pinot Noir from Shea Wine Cellars, from the Block 23 part of the vineyard, it presents a gorgeous medium ruby core in the glass with a silvery rim. Fresh black raspberry, cherry compote, Chambord, umami, peppery spice, and some cedary herbal notes are all present. Wonderfully balanced on the tongue with no rough edges, it finishes with a complex red fruit and herbal aspect that I adore.
